Montebello Villa Hotel - Your Home Away From Home

Montebello villa hotel swimming pool glows at night

Montebello Villa Hotel is located amidst the active metropolis of Cebu, just behind Gaisano Country Mall, a 4-minute walk away.  The hotel maintains its low-rise buildings, surrounded by greenery.

We just came from our Bantayan Island escapade when we checked in at this hotel.  It was an almost 6-hour trip from the island itself.  We rode a ferry from Santa Fe Port to Hagnaya Port, and from there, we were able to find a van bound to Cebu North Bus Terminal and finally rode a taxi to the hotel.

We were greeted with their refreshing welcome drink, a delightful concoction of what seems to be ginger and lemon grass.  Staff greets us all the time.  They were accommodating and helpful.

My husband booked the Superior Room, which is a blend of traditional Filipino and Hispanic style.  It has a private balcony and bathtub.  We paid an additional fee of P1,200 for extra head.  Personally, I really don't like our hotel room because it is kind of outdated, even the hallway, but once you step outside, you will see the beauty of this hotel.  It is adorned with beautifully landscaped gardens.

They have 2 big swimming pools and one children's pool, adorned with cabanas and lounge chairs.  At night, the pool emits a blue glow.

They also have a mini playground.  Kids and kids at heart can freely roam around the hotel's wide expanse of lush greens.

The buffet breakfast was amazing even with limited food choices and the food itself is not that great.  It was already a bliss to eat with the view of the pool and lush greens.  You can also choose to dine inside the cabanas.

The hotel also offered us a tour to the surrounding areas where we got to visit the Temple of Leah, Lantaw Native Restaurant, and The Tops.
