PUKA BEACH - The Serene Paradise of Boracay!
Puka Beach is a 20-minute ride from the White Beach. They said it is named after the Puka shells, which you can find scattered along its white sands.
When we were there (February 5, 2018), we were not able to swim because of the big waves. There is also a warning sign icon that shows the danger of a strong current. The waves here are also white and foamy.

Sand is grainier in the shoreline because of small bits of shells mixed in with it, but a little farther it can be powdery.
There are also vendors who are selling accessories and home decors made from shells. We bought a bracelet and a home decor, which can also be used as a paperweight for P300, but then our Chinese companion managed to buy the same items for P250. We also found out that the same paperweight was being sold at the White Beach for less. I bought it because I find it beautiful and has the name of Puka Beach written in it, so I thought it is only being sold at Puka Beach. Anyway, it is nice to know that you got to help some of the locals there.
Kids and kids at heart can also enjoy the swing in the premises of Alta Vista de Boracay.
I'm just wondering why they put the smoking area in the mini playground.

We also made a video of our little escapade in Puka Beach.
Take care you all!
