(This topic will be in English. I have forgotten my English, so I'm practicing. I used to be fluent in it, but it has been like 12 years(?); now, I am rusty. So, please bear with me and hope you guys can correct me if I'm wrong).
We planned on going to the island early in the morning, but we're lazy AF. It was almost lunch time when we reached Duptours Shuttle Services Terminal, and waited for an hour to aboard a van. Since they told us that there is no direct transportation going to Palompon, we were forced to aboard the van bound to Ormoc. When we reached Ormoc, we transferred to another van bound to Palompon.
When we arrived in Palompon, it was almost 5 p.m. and unlucky for us, the last boat trip has already departed, 7 minutes before we arrived. Whhaaaattttt?!!! After like 30 minutes of waiting, nobody arrived to save us, hihi. We got the boat all to ourselves, but it cost us 3,000 php, and it was just me and my husband. The boat ride took about an hour and once we reached the island, it was all worthwhile.
The island was enchantingly beautiful. It will take all your stress away.

Here, I also made a video. Just beware baka maumay kayo sa mga feslak namin, awww.. (Oopps, Tagalog there, hihi)
This is actually a very late post. We were here last October of 2019; hence, some buildings were still under construction. We arrived at around 3pm, but were told that they were still cleaning the villa so we waited at the reception area and/or Reef 'n Beef. At around 4 pm, our villa was ready and so we went. We were in awestruck with the villa. Every corner was instagrammable. The chic Moroccan-inspired living room was impressive with its perfectly whitewashed walls and the potted greenery creates that outdoor feel. We stayed in their one-bedroom beach villa. Mango Bene - P198/slice (all-time favorite) We have been to Trinoma, SM North, SM Sta. Mesa and SM Aura branches, and it is still the same feel-at-home vibe . Ambiance is very relaxing , homey and cozy . Servers are always friendly and accommodating. Mary Grace offers a wide selection of pastries and cakes, but they are best known for their ensaymadas. I have tried their ensaymada and cheese rolls , both classic and grilled, but I must say I am not a fan of it. They are tasty, but not the best. We are going gaga over Mary Grace hot chocolate. It is very rich , creamy , decadent and heart warming . This is definitely a must try. This is the kind of drink that brings back pleasant memories and lifts your spirit. You will find yourself smiling while sipping this hot chocolate (though the serving is insanely minuscule). We also tried their peppermint hot chocolate , but it is not quite as good. Bantayan Island is our second stop during this Malapascua-Bantayan- Cebu escapade to celebrate the month of love (Feb 2017). We stayed at Anika Island Resort , which from what we could tell is one of the best hotels in the small island. Great scenery , but by night time, the wind was howling and the sand is blown everywhere and can accidentally get to our eyes. We paid P2,252.71 (breakfast included, not buffet) via Expedia , but was asked to pay extra for the third pax. We got to enjoy the center of the island as well, but we had to cut short our stay the following day because of the incoming bad weather with the last ferry leaving the island at 9:30am. We were supposed to check out at 12 noon. So, after breakfast, we packed our things. It was kinda sad. The resort staff are courteous and very helpful. The driver of the van even bought the ferry tickets for us. They even contacted us the day before our stay to coordinate the time of pic...
